NO, this is not an ad for "Quaker Oats."

What you can do with oatmeal is lose weight.

But instead of eating a hearty breakfast with oatmeal, raisins, cinnamon, brown sugar and milk, you'll be eating plain oatmeal (organic) with un-sweetened jelly or jam.

No milk (unless it's skim milk)

No raisins they are high glycemic food.

No sugar of any kind for obvious reasons.

You are very welcome to add cinnamon, it helps with blood sugar levels.

The recipe: JELLIED OATMEAL

    2 or 3 Tbsp of Oatmeal poured in boiling water.

    2 Tbsp of jelly or jam, must not contain extra sugar.

    1/2 tsp cinnamon

Let the oatmeal simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until it's at the consistency of your liking.

Mix in the jelly or jam and eat while it is still hot.

Oatmeal is a anti-acid food which means it breaks-up into the necessary sustenance for the body and it does it rather rapidly.

It speed the metabolism, so if you persist in your endeavor to lose weight quickly oatmeal will work for you.

The key is to fill your body with a wholesome meal that doesn't fill you up.

And at the same times makes you feel like you are full for several hours after mealtime.
