”Stretching as a Best Exercise to Lose Weight?”

Well, stretching is like any other exercise do it enough you'll lose weight or get stronger or both.

Stretching is more for getting ready for vigorous activity.

Not me I stretch for maximum REM sleep.

No other exercise readies me for sleep better than stretches an hour or so before bedtime.

One of the greatest benefits of doing stretches rather than sticking with aerobic exercise.

My body and mind quiet down.

With a higher activity I get keyed up and sleep doesn't come quickly.

I toss and turn waking up periodically.

The best stretching exercise for sleeping lay flat on the floor.

Ease into a lengthy stretch with your hands horizontally straight up.

Perpendicular from your body.

First stretch upward with one arm as far as you can then the other.

With your body still on the floor stretch your leg again as far as you can.

Flex your toes upward and back toward your body.

Stretch them away from your body as far as they'll go!!

Generally, I'll spend about 15 minutes doing stretches more time if my muscles are all knotted.

Doing leg lifts on my back and sides is another great exercise.

Take weights 1 or 2 lbs and just move them up and down and back and forth.

There's no wrong way of using your weights just don't drop one on your head or something.

Have fun with stretching it's so very relaxing.

Make up your own moves, as long as they aren't harmful to your body.

Don't worry your body will let you know if you're doing a stretch wrong.

Much better than a cocktail or watching tv don't you agree!!

Restful slumber diminishes cortisol's effect in a stressful body.

We know that cortisol is one of the bad hormones in the body, when there's to much of it.

When "overly" present it helps the body hold on to fat.

Cortisol in small doses is important to our survival among other things:

    It gives us a quick burst of needed energy if we are frighten or harmed.

    Helps with memory at low levels.

    Lower sensitivity to pain.

    Boost immunity to pathogens

    Maintains homeostasis of the body.

So you see we need cortisol in small amounts each day.

What we don't need is huge amounts filtering into our blood systems because we are unable to de-stress at days end.

That makes stretching one of the best exercise to lose weight.

It de-stress in minutes.

Try stretching before bedtime tonight.

1 Tip:

Remain on the floor either laying down or sitting.

Standing while stretching doesn't make me restful and I don't believe it will you, either!!
