Already known are these facts:
There's several vitamins and minerals....
work with diet and weight loss to reverse diabetes.
chromium and zinc
diminish the efficacy of diabetes.
But is there any place within the ambit of the “super minerals” for Calcium?
Let’s find out.
Well, the clinical trial for calcium and vitamin D influence on diabetes took 314 non-diabetics tested them for 3 years.
Some participants had normal fasting glucose and other had impaired fasting glucose.
Fasting blood glucose levels would be morning levels.
Those impaired fasting glucose subjects taking 500 mg of calcium and 700 IU of vitamin D.... showed fasting blood sugar levels lower than the control (placebo) group of irregular fasting blood sugar not taking Calcium and Vitamin D.
Based on animal studies, conducted by 4 MD’s from Harvard and Channing Lab in Boston.....
Along with Tufts-New England Medical Center, found vitamin D and calcium limited the risk of type 1 diabetes or child onset diabetes.
Lack of Vitamin D has long been believed as a big risk factor for type 1 diabetes.
And you will hear the “reformers” touting the advantages of children getting vitamins and minerals from sources other than dairy......
Which is the absolute best way for growing bones to get the calcium and vitamins needed.
Studies, literally for centuries have been done on the benefits of milk, cheese and yogurt in a growing body.
A farming community located in the Himalayan Mountains eat Yogurt as their staple protein source.
Noted as the oldest aged population on the planet, humans reach the age of 130 years old.
And this is typical not the exception.
They walk nearly everywhere they go and eat meat only once or twice a week.
Yogurt, homemade cheese and unpasteurized cow’s milk is eaten at meals.
More recently, there is mounting evidence to suspect diminished vitamin D and calcium in the body plays a role in developing adult onset diabetes as well.
More and more and more information is pointing to the need of developed cultures to relegate diabetes by eating healthy.
It isn't that hard to do with a little conditioning.
From the National Institute of Health comes the guideline for normal amounts of calcium needed per age group.
* Adequate Intake (AI)
Foods best for consumption of this mineral:
2. Canned Sardines and Salmon gotten from the bones
3. Calcium forfeited cereals and juices
4.Dark green leafy vegetables with 100-200 mg of minerals
Remember when taking supplements to follow the label, calcium is harmful if you over-consume!!
Now there’s no reason to take milk off your shopping list especially if you have children to feed.
However, not all milk is the same….go organic.
Even if nothing else bought at the store is organically grown, start your family consuming organic milk.
