Adult Onset Diabetes is a hormonal disease in which the liver and other body cells do not absorb glucose. In some cases the cells won’t metabolize the glucose once it’s inside the cell. Another way of saying it: Diabetes is a condition in which there’s high blood sugar (glucose) level, either because the body doesn't produce enough insulin. Or It might be because body cells don't properly respond to the insulin that is produced. Therefore blood levels of glucose rise and when that materializes the body produces more water for urination to get rid of the excess glucose. In doing so the person becomes dehydrated which brings on thirst and water consumption. These are two obvious symptoms of the disease! They refers to a group of diseases that affect how the body uses blood glucose. Glucose is vital to health it's the body's main source of fuel for muscles and tissues but actually for every cell. No matter what type either type 1 or 2 there is an abundance of glucose in the blood. Too much glucose can lead to more health issues if not treated and controlled. Diabetes often goes undetected many of the symptoms seem so harmless. Early detection of symptoms and treatment decreases the possibility of developing the disease with complications from other diseases. Type 1
Abnormal thirst Intense hunger A-typical weight loss Acute fatigue and Irritability Type 2 Those of type 1 symptoms Frequent infections Blurred vision Cuts/bruises slow to heal Tingling/numbness in the hands/feet Nausea 15 to 20 minutes after eating Headaches after eating Use your instinct and listen to your body. If you feel different or if you have a nagging suspicion that something is not quite right inside. By all means, "Go to your doctor and get checked out!!"
